  • Use the Software to facilitate unlawful activity; or
  • Use the Software in a manner that intentionally interferes with SERBESA systems or services.

Nothing in this section is intended to restrict rights that cannot legally be restricted under applicable law.

10. Hardware Scanning

SERBESA Driver Care may scan the computer on which it is installed to identify supported hardware and installed driver information.

Depending on the system, this may include information relating to:

  • Graphics cards;
  • Audio devices;
  • Wi-Fi or network adapters;
  • Chipsets;
  • Printers;
  • Other connected devices; and
  • Installed driver versions.

This information may be used to identify potentially applicable driver updates.

The exact information available to the Software depends on the user's Windows environment, installed hardware, permissions, and Software version.

11. Driver Identification and Updates

The Software may compare information about your hardware and installed drivers with available driver information or repositories to identify potential updates.

Driver packages may originate from third-party hardware manufacturers or technology providers.

These may include manufacturers such as:

  • NVIDIA;
  • Intel;
  • AMD;
  • Realtek;
  • HP;
  • Dell;
  • Lenovo;
  • ASUS;
  • Logitech; and
  • Canon.

This list is provided for illustrative purposes and is not exhaustive.

SERBESA does not manufacture these third-party hardware products or necessarily develop the underlying OEM driver packages.

12. Third-Party Driver Disclaimer

Third-party drivers are developed and maintained by their respective manufacturers or technology providers.

SERBESA does not control the development, release schedule, quality, compatibility, security, or continued availability of third-party drivers.

A driver that is appropriate for one computer may not produce the same result on another computer.

Driver compatibility may be affected by:

  • Hardware configuration;
  • Windows version;
  • Existing drivers;
  • Firmware;
  • BIOS configuration;
  • Device condition;
  • Manufacturer-specific requirements;
  • Conflicting software;
  • System permissions; and
  • Other factors outside SERBESA's control.

13. System Changes

Using certain Software functions may make changes to your Windows system.

Depending on the applicable Software version and enabled functionality, the Software may:

  • Read hardware and device identifiers;
  • Read installed driver information;
  • Download driver packages;
  • Create driver backups;
  • Create Windows System Restore points;
  • Replace or update supported driver files;
  • Create scheduled tasks for supported background or quiet scans; and
  • Perform other operations necessary for its driver-management functions.

You acknowledge that system-level software operations may affect the operation of your computer.

You should review available information and maintain appropriate backups before performing significant system changes.

14. Driver Backups

SERBESA Driver Care may provide functionality for backing up supported drivers before or during driver-management operations.

Driver backups are intended to assist with supported driver restoration.

A driver backup is not a complete backup of your computer.

You remain responsible for maintaining independent backups of:

  • Personal documents;
  • Photos;
  • Videos;
  • Business files;
  • Databases;
  • Applications;
  • Configuration files; and
  • Other important data.

Do not rely solely on SERBESA Driver Care or Windows System Restore as your only backup method.

15. System Restore Points

The Software may create Windows System Restore points as part of supported driver-management operations.

System Restore functionality is provided by Windows and may be subject to Microsoft's operating-system configuration and limitations.

The availability and effectiveness of a restore point may depend on factors outside SERBESA's control, including Windows settings, available disk space, system condition, and other system-level circumstances.

A restore point should not be considered a substitute for maintaining independent backups of important personal data.

16. Scheduled and Background Functions

Where supported by the applicable Software version, SERBESA Driver Care may create scheduled tasks or perform background operations for functions such as quiet or scheduled scans.

These functions may require appropriate Windows permissions.

The availability and behavior of scheduled functions may vary depending on the user's Windows configuration, security settings, Software version, and other system conditions.

You are responsible for configuring or disabling supported scheduled functions according to your preferences.

17. Software Updates

SERBESA may release updates, patches, fixes, improvements, or new versions of the Software from time to time.

Updates may be provided to:

  • Correct technical issues;
  • Improve functionality;
  • Improve compatibility;
  • Address security concerns;
  • Improve performance; or
  • Introduce or modify features.

The availability and delivery method of updates may vary between Software versions.

We do not guarantee that every update will resolve every issue or remain compatible with every hardware or Windows configuration.

18. Third-Party Software and Services

The Software may interact with third-party technologies, driver repositories, operating-system functionality, or other third-party services.

Third-party services are controlled by their respective providers.

SERBESA does not control:

  • Third-party service availability;
  • Third-party driver releases;
  • Third-party software changes;
  • Third-party compatibility requirements;
  • Third-party websites;
  • Third-party terms; or
  • Third-party privacy practices.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and policies.

19. Microsoft and OEM Non-Affiliation

SERBESA SOFTWARE LLC is an independent software publisher.

SERBESA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with Microsoft Corporation or the third-party hardware manufacturers referenced in connection with the Software unless expressly stated otherwise.

References to these companies, products, or trademarks are made for identification, compatibility, or informational purposes and do not imply endorsement or sponsorship.

20. Privacy and Technical Information

Your use of the Software may involve the processing of technical information.

SERBESA Driver Care may locally access hardware specifications and driver-version information for purposes associated with driver identification and management.

Information that may be accessed by the Software can include device identifiers, hardware specifications, installed driver information, and related technical information.

The handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Software and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by or licensed to SERBESA SOFTWARE LLC or its applicable licensors.

This includes, where applicable:
